1Why Traditional Tools Fail on Serverless

Traditional PowerPoint automation tools rely on LibreOffice CLI (which requires a 500MB+ Docker image, takes 15+ seconds to boot, and consumes 1GB+ RAM) or Java-based Apache POI. node-pptx-templater has a pure JavaScript footprint under 2MB, boots in <15ms, and runs entirely in memory without writing temporary files to /tmp.

2AWS Lambda (Buffer & S3 Streaming)

Load templates from S3 and export directly as an in-memory Node.js Buffer:

3Cloudflare Workers (Pure JS V8 Isolates)

Cloudflare Workers do not provide Node.js fs APIs. node-pptx-templater provides toArrayBuffer() to stream PPTX files directly into standard HTTP Response objects:
